About Me

Hi, I’m Sarah 👋
And while I wear many hats, one of my favourite roles is helping people rebuild trust in their bodies through movement, nutrition, and sustainable habits.

I started my career in social sciences before finding my love for coaching. I have over 12 years in the fitness industry, my coaching blends evidence-based programming with compassion, lived experience, and a deep understanding of how complex our relationships with food, exercise, and our bodies can be.

I’ve worked with a wide range of clients—from lifestyle coaching wanting to lift weights for the first time to runners tackling everything from their first 5K to ultra-marathons. One thing you’ll never see here? Before-and-after photos of bodies. I don’t believe our worth is tied to how we look, and I refuse to use my body—or yours—as a marketing tool.

I’ve been on all sides of the journey.

I’ve been:

  • A new mom (twice), navigating postpartum recovery and hormonal shifts

  • In a larger body with unhealthy habits

  • Lean but deeply unhealthy, caught in disordered eating and over-exercising

  • And everything in between

Growing up in the ’90s meant years of absorbing diet culture, body shame, and unrealistic expectations. I know firsthand how chasing the “perfect” body can lead to anxiety, burnout, and an unhealthy relationship with food and movement.

Where I am now

I’m no longer the leanest I’ve ever been—but I am the strongest.

I’ve completed countless half marathons and five full marathons, including the Chicago Marathon. I’m deeply passionate about helping women become stronger than they ever thought possible, with a special focus on peri-menopausal and menopausal women. I’m fascinated by the way training, recovery, and hormones interact, and I take a holistic approach to coaching—because I believe in coaching the human first, not just the athlete.

I work with runners and lifters of all levels, and most importantly help people that will find habits that will stick. I understand having a busy schedule and work hard to find something that works with what you have going on.

As a mid- to large-sized personal trainer and running coach, I’m passionate about challenging the narrow idea of what “fitness” is supposed to look like. Your body size does not determine your fitness, your health, or your worth.

What I offer

  • Run Coaching — From 5K to ultra-marathons

  • Strength & Lifestyle Coaching — Gym-based or at home, tailored to your life

  • Nutrition Coaching — Practical, sustainable fueling without diet culture

Inclusive. Individualized. Evidence-based.

I’ll be your biggest (and loudest) cheerleader—through the wins, the setbacks, and everything in between. If you’re ready to stop shrinking yourself and start building confidence, strength, and trust in your body, I’d love to work with you.
